The art directions of this fashion shoot for online magazine Hell Yeah was inspired by Japanese pop culture. Bright bold colours exaggerated with postproduction editing were used to give it this effect. Make-up was used to give the female subjects a porcelain doll look that emulates a Japanese geisha. The photos were taken in a studio using artificial light.
