The Arlberg Bar & Bistro is a restaurant inside Mt Hotham based, alpine resort the Alrberg. The Bistro recently went through a complete overhaul of their branding and I was approached to spearhead the design.
There is a healthy population of deer that roam the mountainous slopes and the client was quite keen on featuring a stag in the bistro logo. Although the logo would be unique, I wanted it to have a strong connection to the Arlberg branding. To achieve this I was able to work the Arlberg mountain graphic into the antlers of the stag.
To coincide with the bistro logo, a series of beer labels were created to decorate the resort’s new line of craft beer. During this process a logo was also created for the brewery (Mt Hotham Brewery) which now holds the title of the highest altitude brewery in Australia.
